I held every one of these cats. Jealous? |
Basically, Japanese Cat Cafes: The Best in Pet Rentals!
Cat cafes are like a beacon of light in my life here in the land of extreme weather and social isolation. Oh, and really, really missing my cats back home.
I had hoped to have another one this week, but my output has been less than satisfactory. Oh well. At least I know what my next one is going to be now. I'm starting to make steady cents now, and all my hubs are being ranked high and quality so, really, #15 (which is considered a milestone at HP) should be good!
Oh, and there's video at that there hub. That I took myself. Of lots of cats.
Lots of cats.
Many many cats.
I'd rather rent a bulldog. But if you want cats, I know a couple of animal hoarders with like 25 of them.
ReplyDeleteAwww, the cats are so adorable. It's funny, I was pretty much a stout dog girl until I moved in with my now husband and adopted his three cats as my children :) Out of the three, only one is still alive, but now I'm a big cat person (although I'm still a big dog person as well lol)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of these Japanese Cat Cafes!
Cats do that, you know. They see a dog person and go "challenge accepted".
DeleteIt's so true. I am a total cat person and while my husband likes cats, he prefers dogs. But our little cat Neko soon brought him round - they're practically inseparable!
DeleteThat's awesome. I lived in Japan a few years ago, but never saw a cat cafe. Another reason to add to the list of "Why I need to go back to Japan".
ReplyDeleteVisiting you from the Write Campaign. :)
I've lived in Japan twice before now and had never gotten to go to one. Now I go about once a month. It's wonderful =D
DeleteAww, how adorable! I'd love to go to Japan someday. It's always been at the top of my travel list.
ReplyDeleteNew follower here, glad to meet you! :)
You should definitely go if you have the chance. Just not in summer. Or winter. Really. Spare yourself the horrors. D:
DeleteWhat a brilliant idea. I particularly love the fact that it gives a home to some cats who might otherwise not have one.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? Many of them are rescue cats. Some even at this particular cafe are disabled. They're so pampered it's ridiculous :D
DeleteHow cool is that! I love to hear all the fun things they do in other countries :)
ReplyDeleteCats are cool. Cafes are cool. Flawless plan!
DeleteWhat is it about cats and writers? I am cat mad, and always have been, and most (not all, but the vast majority) writers I know are cat people too.
ReplyDeleteI guess it's because they're happy to curl up on our laps while we spend hours typing. Even though they do love to sit on the keyboard!
I'm heard tails (haaar) of these cats that magicallysit on ones lap or even care about somebody's computer. I can safely say I have never met such a cat. My cat's idea of life is being mean to me and complaining whenever I interfere with her breathing space.
DeleteI mostly just love cats because they're compact and ridiculous. And they make the best faces.
Beautiful cats! I have two Maine Coons - goofy things - just love them. Wanted to stop by and say hello from a fellow author campaigner :)
