Trip To Japan Update....

It's a go! I just bought the tickets today! Japan is happening for a month this November, in which I will have a nice vacation AND put together a special REN'AI RENSAI visual guide, which will feature the neighrbohoods, buildings, and general goods and food featured in the series! Of course, more info about that will come later. ;)

Weekly Writing Check-In: Back From Vacation!

Just popping in to say I returned from vacation today! Had a great time, and was DEFINITELY inspired for some future works. ;) Might do some work tonight, but as far as I am concerned, I'm still on vacation until I wake up tomorrow!

Weekly Writing Check-In: Off On Vacation!

With all the hub-bub over Amazon lately, I'm so, so glad to be taking a vacation up to Portland this week to see some friends! Leaving bright and early at 7am on a bus for an all-day ride, but I am convinced that it will totally be worth it. I'll be popping online every so often if I can, but otherwise it may be hard to reach me. Ah, hopefully I can snag some good pictures for some great blog posts!

Hubpages Wednesday: Gifu and Hiroshima

Gujo, Gifu, Japan.

I've recently started a small series of travel journal hubs called Japan's 47 Prefectures, in which I'll go into detail about each Japanese prefecture (in random order) and the top 5 things to do in them. Up first I have Gifu, the place I lived for over a year recently, and Hiroshima, a very misunderstood prefecture that's sadly only famous here because we bombed it almost a hundred years ago. I lived in Gifu and I spent about a week in Hiroshima a couple years ago, and both were very profound experiences in my life.

I pretty much have all my pics of those two areas up on those hubs, so if nothing else, if you'd like to see some pics of Japan, go for it!
